How to use it
In Quordle you rarely chase one board at a time early on. A good shared guess tests letters several boards are still arguing about, so its four colour patterns together rule out far more than any single-board pick. Once a board is down to a handful of words, its own most-likely answer below takes over.
A board marked solved is a board where you have entered an all-green row for it. If a board shows 0 words, one of its tile colours doesn’t match your game — tap through that board’s rows and fix it.
How It Works
One guess list, four colour patterns
- Same guess, four patterns. CRANE might be all grey on Board 2 and hold two greens on Board 4. The solver keeps a separate pattern per board, so a letter ruled out on one board is never ruled out on the others.
- Each board filters on its own. A word stays on a board only if replaying every guess against it reproduces that board’s exact colours — the same duplicate-letter rule as the Wordle solver.
- The best guess is shared. It is scored against every unsolved board at once, not just the emptiest one, which is how you spend nine guesses wisely across four answers.

The four dots under each key show that letter’s state on Boards 1–4 — so a letter can be green on one board and grey on another, and the keyboard never hides that.
The Rules
How Quordle works — the proper rules
- Four secret words. Each board hides a different 5-letter word. In a game the four words are never the same word twice.
- Nine guesses, shared. You get 9 guesses in total — not 9 per board. Every guess is entered once and played on all four boards at the same time, even on boards you have already solved.
- Guesses must be real words. A guess only counts if it is a valid 5-letter English word. Anything else is rejected and does not use up a guess.
- Each board colours the guess for its own word. Green — right letter, right place. Yellow — the letter is in that board’s word, but not in that place. Grey — no more of that letter in that board’s word than the green and yellow tiles already show.
- Duplicates are counted exactly. If a word holds one L and you guess a word with two Ls, only one of them can turn green or yellow — the second stays grey. A letter grey on one board may still be the answer on another.
- Solve a board by guessing its word exactly. That board is banked and marked with the guess number you solved it on. Solve all four boards within the nine guesses to win.
- Run out of guesses and the game ends. Any unsolved words are revealed, so you always learn the answers.
- Daily vs Practice. Daily is one puzzle per day — the same four words for everyone, changing at midnight your time. Practice deals four fresh random words every game, as often as you like.

Points: 100 for a 1-guess solve, then 85 · 70 · 55 · 40 · 25 for 2–6 guesses, and 5 just for playing a game you miss. Names are 2–24 characters (letters, numbers, spaces), scores must be 1–6 guesses or a miss, and the same result can’t be posted twice in a minute — that keeps the board fair.

How to play — the game in one minute
Wordle gives you a secret 5-letter word to find. That’s the whole game:
- Guess any 5-letter word. You get 6 tries in total.
- Look at the colours. After each guess, every tile changes colour to give you a clue.
- Guess again, smarter. Use the colours to rule letters in or out, until all 5 tiles turn green — that’s a solve.
Green — the letter is in the word, and in the right spot.
Yellow — the letter is in the word, but in the wrong spot.
Grey — the letter is not in the word at all.
A small example. You guess CRANE and get:
CRANE
That tells you: A is the 3rd letter, R is in the word but not in spot 2, and there is no C, N or E. A word like SHARP still fits all of that — so it would be a smart next guess.

Quordle — Wordle’s bigger test
Quordle hides four secret words at once, one per board, and gives you nine guesses in total. Every guess is played on all four boards at the same time, and each board colours it against its own word — so one guess gives you four patterns to read at once. The winning habit is to open with words that spread common letters widely, bank any board that gets down to one possibility, and never waste a late guess re-testing letters you have already ruled out. Solve all four boards inside nine guesses to win; the words are revealed if you run out.

How It Works
Three colours, counted exactly
- Green — right letter, right place. It’s fixed there.
- Yellow — the letter is in the word, but not there.
- Grey — trickier than it looks. Grey only means “no more of this letter than the coloured tiles already show.” Guess LLAMA and get one yellow L? The answer has exactly one L — not zero, not two. This solver replays your exact colour pattern against every candidate word, so duplicates can never slip through.
- Two suggestions, never blurred. The most likely answer is your best shot at winning this turn. The best information guess may not be an answer at all — it tests the most undecided letters, which is how you escape an –ATCH or –IGHT trap with guesses to spare.
- Good openers cover common letters in useful positions: SLATE, CRANE, TRACE, AUDIO and RAISE are all strong first plays.
How does the duplicate-letter counting work?
For every word in the list, the solver works out the exact colour pattern your guess would have produced if that word were the answer — greens first, then yellows limited by how many of the letter remain. Only words whose pattern matches your tiles exactly stay in the results. That is the same rule the game itself uses.
How do you play the Quordle game here?
Four boards hide four different secret words, and you get nine guesses in total. Each guess must be a valid 5-letter word and is played on all four boards at once; every board colours it against its own word, with duplicates counted exactly — a grey tile means that board’s word holds no more of that letter than its green and yellow tiles already show. Guess a board’s word exactly to bank it, and solve all four within nine guesses to win. Daily mode gives everyone the same four words for the day; Practice deals fresh random words every game. The four dots under each keyboard key show that letter’s state on each board separately.
How does the Quordle Solver work?
Quordle is four Wordle boards at once with nine shared guesses. On the Quordle Solver page you type each guess once, then tap its tiles on each of the four boards to match the colours that board gave you. Each board narrows its own word list with the exact duplicate-letter rule, and the best-next-guess is scored across every unsolved board together. It is linked from the Games hub and from the banner on the Solver page.
What is the difference between the two suggestions?
The most likely answer is the remaining answer with the most common letters in the most common positions — your best chance to finish now. The best information guess is chosen from all valid words to split the remaining answers apart as fast as possible, even when it cannot be the answer itself. Turn hard mode on and both suggestions will obey the rule that known greens and yellows must be reused.
Is this affiliated with Wordle or The New York Times?
No. Wordle Find (wordlefind.com) is an independent helper tool. We never publish today’s official answer — you bring your own board, and the solver works out what it can still be.
What are the numbers next to each word?
That is the word’s Scrabble score, shown next to both suggestions and every word in the Full list. It adds up the standard English letter values — 1 point for A, E, I, O, U, L, N, S, T and R, up to 10 for Q and Z. Tap any word to see its score broken down letter by letter, so you can check the maths yourself.
Does anything leave my device?
The solver itself runs entirely in this page, in your browser — your guesses on the solver board are never uploaded. Leaderboard groups and results are saved on your own device so the board survives closing the tab; they are only sent anywhere if the shared Cloudflare sync described on the Leaderboard page has been connected for this site.
