Wordscapes Solver from Letters — swipe, spell, fill the crossword.

This wordscapes solver from letters sits on the same page as the game: type the letters on any wheel into the solver below and get every word those letters can spell, longest first. The game itself is played right here too — each level gives you a crossword with its words missing and a wheel of letters below it; swipe across the letters to spell a word, and if it belongs in the grid, it fills in. Ten levels, shuffled into a fresh order on every visit — the wheels run from three letters up to seven across the run, but which level opens the run changes every time — with the wheel letters shuffled fresh for every player too.

The Journey

Ten levels — a fresh order every visit

The ten levels are shuffled into a new order on every visit, so no two runs start with the same level or follow the same sequence. Finish a level to unlock the next one in this visit’s order. Completed levels stay open, so you can replay any of them whenever you like.

Solver

Wordscapes solver from letters

Stuck on a wheel — in this game or any letter-wheel level? Type its letters here and this wordscapes solver from letters lists every word in our dictionary that those letters can spell, longest first. Each letter is used no more times than it appears in your entry, exactly like a wheel. Long words are the ones most likely to belong in a grid; short ones are where bonus words hide.

Enter 3 to 10 letters — for example the Summit wheel, or any level you are stuck on.

The solver is a tool, not an answer key for a specific commercial level: it finds words from letters, and you decide which ones your grid wants. Wordle Find is independent and unaffiliated with Wordscapes and its makers.

The Rules

How Wordscapes works — the proper rules

  1. A crossword with its words taken out. The grid shows you exactly how long each hidden word is and where words cross — the crossing letters are shared, so one found word gives you letters in another.
  2. The wheel holds all the letters you need. Every word in the grid can be spelled from the wheel. Swipe across letters in order to spell a word — each wheel letter can be used only once in a single word, and longer words simply use more of the wheel.
  3. Release to try the word. If it belongs in the crossword, its letters fill in everywhere they appear. If you tapped or typed your word instead of swiping, press Try this word or Enter.
  4. Bonus words pay coins. A real English word that fits the letters but isn’t in this crossword isn’t wasted — it’s banked as a bonus word worth 5 coins. Grid words pay 10 coins plus 2 per letter, and finishing a level pays 50.
  5. Shuffle is free, hints cost. Every level starts with the wheel already shuffled into a fresh random order — different for every player and every session — and the shuffle button rearranges the wheel again whenever you want a fresh look at the letters. A hint reveals one hidden letter in the grid and costs 100 coins.
  6. Fill every word to finish the level and unlock the next. There are ten levels: the wheels run from 3 letters up to 7, the grids from 2 words to 6, and the order is shuffled fresh on every visit.

Guide

Wordscapes bonus words — the coins hiding off the grid

Bonus words are real words that can be spelled from the wheel letters but do not belong in that level’s crossword. They are never wasted: in the game above each one banks 5 coins, and coins buy hints at 100 coins each — so ten bonus words pay for half a hint, and a thorough sweep of a big wheel can fund the letter that finishes the level.

  • Hunt them after the grid words. Once the crossword is nearly full, run the solver on the same letters and work through the short words — 3- and 4-letter words are where most bonus words live.
  • Plurals and past tenses count. If CAT is on the wheel, try CATS; if BAKE fits, try BAKED. Endings are the cheapest bonus words there are.
  • Anagrams of grid words are not bonus words if they are already in the grid — a bonus word must be a real word the grid does not use.
  • Crossing letters first. In the grid itself, a word that crosses two unfinished words is worth solving early: one word, three words’ worth of letters revealed.

Worked Example

Solving a wheel from its letters — a worked example

Say a wheel shows S, U, M, M, I, T. Type SUMMIT into the solver above and it works through its dictionary using each letter no more times than the wheel holds it — the two Ms matter, so SUMMIT itself (6 letters) qualifies, along with MIST, SUIT, SUM and SIT, while a word like MUMMY is refused: it would need a Y the wheel does not have and a third M.

Results come back longest first because the longest word is almost always the grid’s spine — place SUMMIT first and its crossing letters start filling the words that cross it. The short groups at the bottom are your bonus-word sweep: real words the grid does not use, each worth coins toward a hint in the game above.

That order — longest first, shortest last — is the order to play in, too: grid words first for the letters they reveal, bonus words after for the coins they bank.

How does the wordscapes solver from letters work?

Type the letters on your wheel (3–10 letters) and the solver checks its dictionary for every word those letters can spell, using each letter no more times than you entered it. Results are grouped longest first, because the longest words are usually grid words, while the shortest groups are the best hunting ground for bonus words.

What counts as a bonus word in Wordscapes?

Any real English word that fits the wheel letters but is not one of the level’s crossword words. In this game it banks 5 coins; grid words pay 10 coins plus 2 per letter, and finishing a level pays 50.
