Word Tiles — build words, score letters.
Play Word Tiles here — a tile game, on its own page. You get 7 letter tiles each round and 10 rounds to score as much as you can: click tiles to build a word, then submit it. Every letter scores its own value, and a word that uses all 7 tiles earns a +50 bonus. Fresh tiles every game — there is no Daily mode in this version. Word Tiles is a Scrabble-style tile game, independent and not affiliated with Hasbro or Mattel. It uses no Scrabble logo, board, or official word list, and it makes no official claim.

Board mode — own 11×11 board
Build one word per turn on the board. First word must cover the centre Start square. Later words must touch an existing word. Premium squares: Triple Crown (word ×3, violet), Double Crown (word ×2, green), Triple Gem (letter ×3, amber), Double Gem (letter ×2, blue). Premiums count only for tiles placed this turn. This board, its squares and its layout are Word Tiles' own design — not the Scrabble board, and Word Tiles is independent and not affiliated with Hasbro or Mattel.

Board leaderboard
Word Tiles board top 10
Rows marked Sample are examples to beat — not real players. Your real board score is the highlighted live row, saved on this device only, and it climbs this board as you play. Sample rows never overwrite real scores; a real score that beats a sample simply ranks above it.
Leaderboard
Word Tiles top 10
Ranked by best 10-round game total, then by best word. Saved on this device only — not shared, not cross-device, and not a global board. Finish 10 rounds to enter it; a lower score never replaces your higher best.
The Rules
How Word Tiles works
- 10 rounds. Each round deals 7 fresh letter tiles from a weighted tile bag, where common letters appear more often.
- Build a word. Click tiles to build a word, each tile once per round, up to 7 letters. Click a built letter, or Clear, to take it back. You can also type letters on your keyboard, use Backspace to undo, and Enter to submit.
- Words must be real. A word only counts if it is in the word list. Anything else is rejected with “not in the word list” and does not use up the round — try a different word with the same tiles.
- Score every letter. A=1, B=3, C=3, D=2, E=1, F=4, G=2, H=4, I=1, J=8, K=5, L=1, M=3, N=1, O=1, P=3, Q=10, R=1, S=1, T=1, U=1, V=4, W=4, X=8, Y=4, Z=10.
- 7-tile bonus. A word that uses all 7 tiles earns +50 on top of its letter score.
- After round 10 the game ends. Your total score and your best word are shown, and Play again deals fresh tiles with the score reset.
- Board mode. Tap Board mode for an endless game on Word Tiles' own 11×11 board: first word over the centre Start square, later words touching an existing word, one straight word per turn plus any cross-words, with Triple Crown (word ×3), Double Crown (word ×2), Triple Gem (letter ×3) and Double Gem (letter ×2) squares that count only for tiles placed that turn. The board leaderboard shows labelled Sample rows to beat (not real players) plus your live row, saved on this device only.
- Independent game. Word Tiles is a Scrabble-style tile game, independent and not affiliated with Hasbro or Mattel. It does not use the Scrabble name, board, or official list.
